Here is an idea, stop stealing and maybe the service providers will stop
terrorizing people with legitimate uses for smart card programmers.

For example: I dont care if people pirate software that they arent going to
buy in the first place. But if they SELL the pirated stuff then thats just
wrong..


btw lots of testors still pay the monthly fee, they wouldnt buy the extra
programming or movies anyway. so their not exactly screwing bell over.

Hello everyone i was chatting to this fellow by mistake sent the email to
him instead of the group!

This guy is a scam he buys his software off a dealer and then sells it to
you buy programming your card!

Just so you all know the life of the hu card is running short just like the
life of the h card did and now it gone!

Dont waste money buying scripts from anyone get it off the net free and easy
to use or learn to make them which just takes a little time! But anyone who
posts long term scripts is a fraud no script will stay up for ever!

Also each time a new device no 745 boards etc come out direct tv know that
it is out thier and changes thier configuration to find ways to stop it!

All those who have had driect tv in past know how direct tv can be and how
unstable it is yes brining a card to a programmer is what most do cause they
did not know where to by a programmer or parts etc

Programming is not hard dont let these fools make you think it is they just
want your money!

Keep tv free and if anyone needs a running bin just email me and i will send
you one to keep you up for now thanks! (not anything special in a bin just
one so you will have tv till you leanr where they web sites are)

Who pays the engineer to write the code that gives you free tv? Maybe he
works for food stamps and enjoys risking everything so that you can watch
FREE TV? ;)

Offering a service to people is not scamming them. Either buy or don¹t buy.

I would agree that BEV and StarChoice hacking inside Canada is theft,
but NOT Dish or DTV, as we cannot subscribe, legally, to these superior
services due to our protectionism patronage cronyism-based 'choices'

Before the days of home satellite reception, it was not illegal to
receive EM signals of any wavelength. There were some rules about not
using captured information for profit or not divulging private
information to third parties. If a party wanted to keep information
secret, the onus was on them to sufficiently encrypt it. Bell etc.
lobbied the gov (read: made political contributions) to change this so
that they didn't have to sufficiently encrypt their signals. They get to
beam their microwave signals through your body from orbit and you have
to keep your eyes closed so as not to offend them. It's like saying: if
you live in a high rise near the stadium, it's illegal to watch the
football game through your window. All they had to do was rent you the
hardware and forbid you from modifying it. But they are greedy and
didn't want the responsibility of maintaining customers' receivers. They
make you buy the hardware but they don't let you use it without
permission. The law is absurd.

Furthermore, most of the communication technology in use today was
conceived and first implemented by amateurs. People who enjoyed
tinkering, ham radio types etc. To make it illegal to receive certain
signals flies in the face of the whole history and culture of the
technology. Again, back to those greedy scumbags....
