I don't think I've ever heard of one... just buy your own kit (cheap) and
you can have 4 different fondues at home (cheese, oil, broth, chocolate).
Good meal too...

Cheers

One of the vegetarian restaurants on whyte avenue had a great fondue of
fruit in chocolate and it was great but I can't remember the name of it. It
was only a dessert item though. I haven't heard of any fondue restaurants
either. Maybe someone should open one :) If they can have a pita pit they
can have a fondue fix

Yes, the whole point about a restaurant is not doing it or the dishes
yourself Todd. ;)

True, but what's $40 for a fondue pot when one person's meal will cost more
than that...

don't know if this is close but the Ginseng Restaurant and Korean
Village (Riverbend?) have this kind of meal. You take meat from the
buffet, bring it to your table and cook it yourself. Only catch-if you
leave leftovers, be prepared to pay

This is called Steamboat. Several restaurants have this type of meal. A
very good one is Bangkok Restaurant on 116 Ave/116 Street.

We had a fondue at The Cheese Factory on 82nd ave. and 89th street. You have
to book in advance and choose your dishes ahead of time. Excellent service
and wonderful food. If I remember correctly it was a 4 course fondue.

Well, the counter side is open, but the restaurant side isn't... or at
least, that's the way it was when I went in July, and there was no
specific plans to as to when the restaurant would reopen.... So I
dunno... if anyone drives by, they could let us know... it's an hour
drive from here, so I won't make a special trip just to find out... :)
